Welcome to Balboa Peninsula

The three-mile stretch of land is bordered by Newport Harbor on one side and the beautiful sandy Newport beaches on the other. The neighborhoods consist of elegant surfside homes that rest on the bayfront as well as oceanfront, creating the perfect vantage points for watching the sunsets and sunrises. The views are saturated with the Pacific waves crashing on the shoreline, surfers getting barreled, and sunbathers catching rays.

Home to the original Ruby's Diner, the beautiful "Peninsula" plays host to an array of restaurants, and quick bite stops giving you plenty of options whether you want to take a cocktail break with friends or hit the beach for the day. Take a stroll down Main Street to get to the historic Balboa Pavilion, which was made famous in the 30s and 40s for being home of the Big Band era legends Count Basie and Benny Goodman.

The properties on Balboa resemble the beach house of our dreams, standing tall with neutral exteriors, surfboards hanging out front, and neighbors chatting with smiles out front.

The entertainment is endless with bars, live music, and social hangouts that have people flocking to this local nightlife destination. Or, spend the day whale watching, riding the 80-year-old Ferris Wheel at the Balboa Fun Zone, or taking the Balboa Island Ferry somewhere knew.

Fun Fact: The Balboa Peninsula is named after the Spanish explorer, Vasco Núñez de Balboa.
